The Ms. Texas Senior America Pageant champions healthy aging, wellness, and mental well-being. Dr. Terre Quinn went from the operating room to the stage! When Dr. Terre stepped out on the stage she captivated the audience with her presence. Not only is she a breast surgeon but a very beautiful, charming and fascinating woman with personality plus!!!
In interviewing Dr. Terre, she told me as Ms. Texas Senior America she has enjoyed having a broader platform to champion women's health, but she is also aware of other needs in the community. She is struck by the increase in violence against women that seems to happen almost daily in the news, and recently discovered there was a 10% rise in intimate partner abuse during the Covid pandemic. She is learning that intimate partner abuse, physical or emotional, crosses all socioeconomic lines, and men are victims as well.
Dr. Terre is a breast surgeon in the Plano area and has practiced surgery for over 28 years. She feels it is a joy to do what you love. Aside from educating women about breast cancer and its treatment, Dr. Terre is passionate about advocacy regarding women's health.
Dr. Terre won the coveted title of Ms. Texas Senior America 2023 and went to Atlantic City in October to compete in the Ms. Senior America Pageant representing Texas. She won the judges over and was crowned Ms. Senior America 2024. How exciting for Dr. Terre who is a Breast Surgeon winning the national title during Breast Cancer Awareness month. We are all so proud of her! What a blessing she will be as she travels through out the United States promoting the Ms. Senior America Pageant but also educating women about their health. She has an incredible bio I want to share with you.
